Description
Bag of Activated Carbon (also called activated charcoal, activated coal, or carbo activatus) in pellets, completely new, unregenerate, for the adsorption of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in painting processes.
The activated carbon is a filter media very efficient, made of granular microporous material, with large surface area for adsorption and high adsorption capacity, used in purifiers and treatment plants for paint spray booths in automotive and car repair shops, carpentry and generally in industries employing spray painting, to capture pollutants in the gas phase and for the removal of solvents in coating processes.
Activated carbon can be also used in gas purification, water purification and filtration (for example for the adsorption of DOCs [Dissolved Organic Compounds] in aquariums), medicine (to treat poisonings and overdoses), sewage treatment, air filters in gas masks and respirators, filters in compressed air, sleeve filters and cartridge filters in cleaning and purifiers systems, decaffeination, metal finishing, neutralizing strong smells in kitchen hoods and many other applications.
Its use with proper sizing allows to eliminate odors (deodorization) from finishing plants and to fulfill the environmental normative prescriptions.
